Farmer Interns/ WWOOFERs
Since the Spring of 2009, Mohala Farms has provided in-depth, intensive farm internships positions to over 50 people who both live and work on the Mohala Farms site. Length of internships average between 1-2 months with approximately 3-4 interns on the farm at any given time. These workers are trained in the full-range of organic farming activities, including sales and marketing, and many have also helped in numerous farm building and construction improvement projects. Farm interns have come through WWOOF Hawaii (Worldwide opportunities on Organic Farms), HelpX, and by word-of-mouth referrals
