SUMMER 2020: Aloha Friends and Patrons! We will only be participating in one farmer's market this summer: at the Old Waialua Sugar Mill every Saturday from 8:30am till noon. We will return to Kaka'ako market later this fall! For ongoing information follow us on Facebook or Instagram @mohala_farms. Mahalo!
Mohala: Unfolded, as flower petals; blossoming, opening up; spread, as a turkey's tail; blooming, as a youth just past adolescence; shining forth, as a light; appearing clear, as a thought; evolved, developed; freed or recovered, as from fear, worry, illness.

Mohala Farms is a 6-acre organic farm and non-profit organization located in Waialua on the North Shore of O’ahu. Since 2005, we have been building the farm’s infrastructure and revitalizing the soil - bringing the land back to a state of healthy productivity and abundance.

In the Spring of 2009, commercial sales of the farm’s organic produce kicked-off with steady increases in our supply of produce and number of customers and accounts growing each year. As a non-profit organization, we complement our work as farmers with a broader mission of having the farm be a place of learning, inspiration, renewal, advocacy and community service.

The mission of Mohala Farms is to foster healthy local communities in Hawaii through sustainable agriculture, lifelong education and cultural & creative arts.
Our work is grounded on the life-giving qualities of the land and a village-model of mutual cooperation and local self-sufficiency.
