A small but healthy stand of Wauke has been growing on the farm since 2015, cared for by Kumu A'ia'i Belo, a Hawaiian cultural practitioner who has been working with kapa for many years, and her haumana. These wauka are a beautiful addition to the farm, sending up happy keiki, creating it's own tiny micro-climate, and providing material for kapa to be used in ways that perpetuate and uplift these traditional practices.
