Board President, Judy Kern

Peace and Justice advocate and activist for over 25 years. Former leadership positions with the American Friends Service Committee, Planned Parenthood and Hawaii People’s Fund. Former employment with Hawaii Meals on Wheels, Lanakila Meals on Wheels and the Hawaii State Department of Health, Executive Office on Aging. Member and current moderator at Church of the Crossroads.

​Sociology Professor at the University of Hawaii -- Manoa, with a primary focus on environmental sustainability, social justice and food security issues. Born and raised in Japan and Singapore.

Organic farmer for 30+ years, small-business owner and operator, graduate of the NY Culinary Institute and trained macro-biotic chef, member of Church of the Crossroads, long-time owner/member and former employee of Kokua Food Co-op.
